The animal in this photo is a polar bear. Here he’s walking near her kids. Adult polar bears are 750 kilos. They can swim more than 150 kilometers. Females have two cubs every four or five years.

Polar bears live in the Artic, Canada, Russia,Greeland and Norway. The Artic ice is smaller because the climate is changing. They live and hunt on the ice. Polar bears usually eat seals.

Polar bears are on the “red list” of animals in danger. Pollution is a problem, especially oil. Humans hunt polar bears in some areas. I think that is important to protect these animals.

Shake It Up, Disney's new TV show for teenagers, began in the USA in 2010. The series is about two school friends, Cece and Rocky. In the series, the girls are chosen to dance on their favorite TV dance show. With its humor and cool dance scenes, the series is a big success in the USA.

Cece: She's a fashionista. She wants to reach her goals and won't let anyone stop her. She also loves her best friend Rocky and lives her life to the full.

Rocky: She's a good girl, and is alwatys trying to help her friends. She is generous and helps charities. Always hanging out with my friends and trying to get good grades in school. She always doing the right thing...

St. MARTIRIÀ DAY

Every year there’s a big celebration in Banyoles. It’s called St. Martirià’s Day, he is the patron saint. It is in October and it’s an autumn celebration.

On the day of this festival the people go to the fair, see the giants, and go to fireworks… I get up and meet my cousin and we go to the fair. Later my father, my mother and I, visit relatives.

I like this day because there’s a fair and other activities. There are also a lot of people in the fair. I like to see the fireworks too.

A LANGUAGE REPORT

In my class there are twenty-seven students from 4 different countries. There are people from Spain, Honduras, Morocco and Romania.

At school we have English classes three times a week. Spanish and Catalan are also subjects here. People in this class speak Spanish, Catalan, Moroccan and Romanian.

My level of English is "notable". My vocabulary is good, but I want to improve my speaking. I think it’s a good idea to memorize examples and read books and comics in English.
